Rubber Mats for Home & Factories

Rubber Matting

Electrical Insulation Rubber Mats
Rubber Mats are extensively used for both indoor and outdoor purposes. They are not only useful for a number of things but also add to the appearance of the place at which they are used. Designer Rubber Mats are quite in vogue these days, as apart from having many useful functions, they are also really attractive.  Rubber Mats are generally used for the following purposes:

Applications Of Rubber Mats:

Rubber Door Mats

  • Rubber Mats are most popularly used as floor mats at homes, offices, gyms, temples and factories. The main purpose which these Rubber Mats serve at these places is to keep the places clean and tidy. Rubber Mats are quite good at removing dust and dirt particles from footwear.
  • Rubber Mats are used in bathrooms and other such places to prevent people from slipping on wet floors. These Rubber Mats also make the bathrooms look more attractive.
  • These mats are also used in vehicles such as cars to keep the interiors clean.
  • There are special Knee Saver Rubber Mats which are used while bending or kneeling.
  • Rubber Mats are also used while doing Yoga and some other exercises.
  • Anti Fatigue Rubber Mats are used in factories and industries. These mats are able to distribute and ease the pressure through legs and feet and reduce the effects of pressure.
  • Anti Vibration Mats are used in refrigerators and washing machines to minimize the risk of currents and vibrations.
  • Rubber Mats are also used near swimming pools to reduce chances of slipping and to prevent accidents.
  • Rubber Mats are also used for making mouse pads for computers.
  • Rubber Mats can also be used on ramps to assist easy mobility of handicap people. These Rubber Mats reduce the slipperiness of the ramps making it safer for the handicap people to use these ramps.
  • Rubber Mats are even used in gyms for keeping exercising equipment and to protect the floor from scratches.
  • Rubber Mats are used near electrical equipment in factories to protect workers from dangers of short circuit.

High Voltage Insulating Electrical Mats for Control Panels

Electricity is a Boon & catalyst for Industrial Revolution. It is a root for fruitful development of any industry. We the advancement begun in 20th century need for more & more electricity laid down the fore-steps of inventing new & advance ways of Electricity generation.
In early times Electricity was manufactured using coal or wood then with the advancement petroleum (Diesel) began to use as the later is more convenient to use. Now a days Electricity is mostly generated using Wind Energy, Nuclear Energy & Hydro Energy.

Electrical Panels are control units are used to control all the electrical devices at one place. Workers spent a fair amount of time working on these panels. Insulating Mats made of Elastomer are therefore placed around area of work of workers on these panels to protect them of any Electric Stock in case of any current leakage, overflow or any such emergencies.

Insulating switchboard mats are considered as a Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), that's designed for use around switchboards or high voltage carrying equipment. Used in many industrial plants and factories to protect workers against electrical shocks.

"Elastomer" is a generic term which mean any substance which is elastic or stretchable under external force & would attain original shape when external force is removed. This includes Rubber, Polymers either Natural or Synthetic.
International & Indian Standards : IS:15652:2006, IEC:61111, ASTM D178
Insulating Mats are available in Various shapes, Sizes, thickness & colour, as per the requirement of the purchaser & can resist current up to 70KV. Thickness determine the current resistant capacity of the mat. As per Indian Standard (BIS) 2mm thick Insulating mats are recommended for up to 3.3KV, 2.50mm for 11KV & 3mm for 33KV (these figures mean working voltage, test voltage are quite on higher side).

Matting Thickness vary from 3.2mm to 12.7mm as per ASTM D178 standard & for IEC (International Electro technical Commission) its 3mm for up to 26.5KV & 4mm for up to 36KV.
We manufacture Rubber & Polymer Products which includes industrial Rubber Sheets & Rubber Hoses, Insulating Mats for Electrical Panels,  Rubber Matting, PVC Water Stops for construction joint waterproofing & other customized Rubber & Polymer Products.

Electricity Safety Mats or Electro mats are safe for both High Voltage & low Voltage Panels. Other than having resistant towards electric current these mats are Oil, Acid, Chemical, UV, Alkalies resistant as well & could also be manufactured as per customer's requirement having special properties like self-extinguishing against fire. thickness could also be increased in case of to be used at a adverse environment.

Industrial Neoprene Rubber Sheets

The process of converting Raw Natural or Synthetic Rubber in to sheet form by means of mixing it with chemicals, minerals, carbon, oils & vulcanization is called Rubber Sheeting.

The process involved Rubber Processing Chemicals like Sulfur, Zinc Oxide, TMT, Titanium, MBTS. Minerals like Calcium Carbonate, Carbon. Processing oil called RPO (Rubber Processing Oil), all these ingredients are mixed together using Rubber processing machinery which includes Banbury mixture, Kneader machine, mixing mills, calendering machine, extruder, hydraulic press, roto-cure & cooling conditioner.

There are two types of Rubber available namely Natural, Synthetic. Natural rubber is derived from Rubber Tree ( Hevea brasiliensis) after processing of milk type of material licking from rubber three (called Latex).

Synthetic Rubber is a petroleum product, manufactured using content derived from crude oil & adding  certain chemicals by means of Industrial application. There are varieties of synthetic Rubber is available in market like Chloroprene (Neoprene), Silicone, EPDM, Fluoro-elastomer, Nitrile, Hypalon, Butyl, all these grades differs in terms of there application & specifications, for eg.
  1.  Chloroprene(Neoprene) are resistant to Oil, Acid, Alkalies, hydrocarbons and are abrasion resistant.
  2. Silicone - Silicone Rubber Sheets are highly resistant to temperature, these can bear up to 250° C.
  3. EPDM - Rubber are resistant to whether, temperature, ageing, radiations, EPDM Rubber Sheets prevents Water or Liquid to pass through & that's the reason EPDM Rubber are widely used in Water Proof Roofing, Canal & Ponds Lining.
  4. Nitrile - Nitrile or NBR Rubber Sheets are permeable to gases, therefor used as gaskets in packing purposes.
  5. Viton or  Fluoroelastomer - Rubber sheet is resistant to a wide range of oils and solvents. It exhibits good abrasion and tear resistance. These sheets can bear hear and high temperature very well.

Industrial Rubber Sheets are use in a variety of applications such as gaskets, packing, Insulation, matting purposes. In modern days rubber sheets are manufactured using blend of Natural & Synthetic Rubber.
